The Beginning of FOREVER!

On the 9th of May 2009, Paul and I were Married and Sealed for time and all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah Temple! I may be biased, but it was a great day! It was a beautiful morning. It was so great to have the support and love from all our family and friends throughout the day!
I woke up at 5:15 in the morning and with my mom headed over to Paul's parents home to meet my hair stylist. At about 8:20a Paul and I were ready to head to the temple(both surprisingly calm!). The first of the big events began with our sealing ceremony at 10 in the morning. After the sealing our family was so good to put up with the hours of pictures that followed! I do have to say though.. I loved our photographer! Pictures from the wedding will be up soon and you will too see how amazing she was! In the afternoon we had a luncheon for our temple guests and family at The Mandarin, Chinese restaurant. Not only was the food great, but it was special part of our wedding day I will never forget. Paul's father, Glen, started of a chain of comments given by our guests to us. Our family and friends went around the room and said things they remembered about us or things that were unique to us as individuals and now a couple. It was very sweet and there was definitly an uproar of water works in that restaurant during this time! We truly love all who were there! After lunch it was time to get ready for the open house reception. A family in Paul's ward let us use their home for our reception. It was a beauiful set up. Our guests began arriving at 6:30p. I would say for me the reception was the most fun part of the day! I loved meeting some of Paul's friends I had never met before and also loved just relaxing and laughing with my family and friends. Just before nine my brother-in-law announced for us that the couple would be leaving the reception! So I changed out of my dress and, Paul and I headed, hand in hand towards the car as the rest of the family followed behind or waited up ahead. (now i understand why!) We stepped in the car and WOW! It was covered in confetti. As we started the car Confetti shot from the vents, fell from the visors and was literally.. EVERYWHERE!(we are still finding confetti everyday!) We pulled away only to find that everytime Paul stepped on the brake there was a HORN that blew! Our trip to Salt lake that night was a long one! Paul tried to slow down by downshifting and then using the e-brake rather than just pressing the brake and hearing the screaming horn! We felt bad for the valet at the hotel when he got into our car! It was a honestly the BEST DAY! Thanks to everyone who made it so memorable for us.
